The Arena Brasilia (Football Stadium) is now the sixth most expensive stadium in the world, 
behind the mega-stadium Rogers Centre / Toronto (Canada) U.S. $ 930 million and in front of fharaonic Emirates Stadium which cost $ 770 million, the stadium of Brasilia, which started the Confederations Cup cost $ U.S. $ 790 million, see website Curiosando to see the top 10 most expensive stadiums in the world.
The government of the Federal District (Brasilia) has set aside the R$ 400 million that would come from BNDES, money denied by TCU (Court of Audit), and I am the money Terracap, state owns the land belonging to the government of the Federal District, which therefore is public money, our government who swore they never would use.
