Criatividade e inventmentice

17 Jan

Creativity is something different from the pure invention, fad or uncritical AlightPenadherence to reality, it is necessary to have a perception of what is happening in reality and also in the perception of what happens (what can be called theory, but the term is incomplete), David Bohm points out that “every ‘thing’ that exists in nature has some contribution to the way of being of the universe as a whole” (BOHM 1957: 146).
Today with research in quantum physics, you can no longer think of the particles or subparticles, because depending on the context also the particles need to be interpreted, even one particle can transform into others.
So according to Bohm human perception is limited because reality (and its perception) is constantly changing, and also one thing modifies the other at any moment, so the knowledge depends on the context in which the object meets and creates relationships with the observer, and human thought with its categories can be put in check since anyone who ignores it has a limited thought about the “thing.”
All animate and inanimate things have an implied order that refers to information that determines their form, that is, the in-form context as we always state in our blog, but this context changes all the time.
Inventions are false inventions, they try to deny the context in which order becomes in-form, in fact it is a repetition of old reasonings about a changing world, for example, the use of mouse in digital world, light pen was not success.
But what is then perception, Bohm and Hiley argue that it is an implicate order, since it is about a form as the basis of thought, since it is based on information contained in memory (1993, p.383 ), it is this information that forms the basis of the comparison by which one perceives the similarities and differences between sensations.

According to this thought, to have creativity it is necessary to broaden the perception, but there is no method for this, creativity is a free game of perception, and this means doing bodily and mental exercises so that the mind has a kind of free dialogue in the which this conditioning can be undone (BOHM 1987, 229).
In terms of philosophy we might call it epoché, but Bohm calls it meditation, without it there will be no creativity, but inventions on the same “closed” forms.

Dialogues and Creatives

16 Jan

David Bohm is one of the rare authors to approach the question of creativity in depth,aOnCreativity and his text begins with an absolutely new discourse, at least for those who go through the paths of dialogue and hermeneutics like me, disagreeing with the idea that dialogue is two logos, says the author:
“A deeper meaning for it [the word dialogue] logos means” the word “or rather” the meaning of the word “. And day means “through” – not meaning two or double -. A dialogue can occur with any number of people, not just between two. Even a person alone can have a sense of dialogue with himself if the spirit of dialogue is present. ”
He will say further in the preface: “And the shared meaning thus created, is the” glue “or” cement “that keep people and society together,” is really interesting since it breaks with the almost inherent meaning of the word that is a “dual logos,” a non-opening.
Almost as a conclusion, it calls into question the converse that would be the discussion: “Contrast this with the word” discussion, “which has the same root of percussion and concussion. They have a meaning of breaking things. “I find here a” dialogue “with phenomenology, because it wants to turn things around on their own, makes sense, divides them into parts, not only two but innumerable, a great problem of modernity: fragmentation.
It asserts one of the deepest dualisms of our time, that between science and religion: “Science is supposed to be dedicated to discovering facts and truth, and religion being devoted to another kind of truth and love, but interest and presuppositions “assume the command”. “, of course, does not speak unilaterally, but of both.
Although many claim not to judge people, says the author what we are doing: “It seems that something is happening: it seems that assumptions and opinions work as a computer program in people’s minds. And these programs take over against intentions. It is as if they produce their own intentions, “those who criticize the” logical “world of cyberculture, act day-to-day in only logic such as robots, without any creativity.

If we have a built-in implicit thought situation, the author calls this coherent (I consider it somewhat relative), what we would have over time would be: “in a group that has had dialogue for a long time, so that people have made themselves known to each other – we will have a coherent movement of thought, a coherent movement of communication. ”

It is only the beginning of the book, but it is impossible to speak in creativity without saying something of the dialogue.

Intel Hardware Insecurity

15 Jan

The storage of data had 3 levels: the external memory (HDs), the memory aMemoryKernelof the computer (the RAMs) and the many internal ones before called Register and today is the Kernel Memory, are in the kernel of the computer and are the faster, but can also be windows for data theft, today there is a fourth level which is the external stores in clouds, computing center scattered around the world selling these stores.
An error in the production of Intel’s chips, which make up almost 90 percent of the world’s computer chips (smartphones are very different), has just been caught in a design flaw that gives data vulnerability.
AMD, a competitor of Intel, took the opportunity to point out that its Kernel memory (computer core memories) are unaffected by hacker attacks, and does not allow access to passwords and other sensitive machine data, through which data from a computer can be stolen.
According to Paul Kocher, president of security company Rambus for the New York Times, the problem could be bigger if access was in the clouds, where large parts of the data are already being stored today, this is because the sharing of machines this sharing of core memories) can be made, even if considering the security protocol that avoids access to other memory levels.
Security issues with the giants Amazon, Microsoft and Google, in addition to the chipmaker Intel may rock the market, in addition to AMD other Eastern competitors should be on the lookout, we alerted to the key problem.

Come and see, the common change

12 Jan
Many are the authors who face serious world problems: climate change, aLightEarthepidemics caused by genetic mutations of viruses and bacteria, revolutions and terrorism, corruption demonstrated by the Swiss Leaks, Panama Papers and now Paradise Papers, among others, are never and never were episodes localized, restricted in regions or countries, the idea of a “target community” of Edgar Morin or all in the same boat as Petr Sloterdijk, is the demonstration that we need global solutions to global problems.
Morin evokes Emilio de Rousseau (1992) to declare the general principle of his proposal, which inspires the title of this book: an education that “teaches to live,” Sloterdijk goes further and evokes 4,000 years of history to teach us that. “The art of belonging can only begin again from small orders.” So the change for humanity is to sow in small groups, remembering the “sowing” of Nietzsche and also Heidegger warns that everything is happening in absolute silence, but it is there.
Edgar Morin warns that the philosophical studies of science and education call for the foundation of a new scientific paradigm, free from the current disjunction that isolates subjects and objects of study, and that promotes the reconnection between them and their contexts in a transdisciplinary practice which in turn will require the training of students, scientists and researchers capable of crossing disciplinary boundaries and who are therefore police-competent (Morin, 2003: 110).
We think that these reflections have applicability in any area of knowledge, from the so-called hard sciences, be they in the humanities, but in our view they will mainly have, on the studies of Communication and Information, transdisciplinary areas par excellence, this reflection can be found even in a Latin American author Nestor Garcia Canclini.
There are small pockets of studies and “clearings” where these studies can take place, they are like those who wanted to know where Jesus lived, in the Bible it is written in John 1:39 when the disciples ask where he lived; Jesus answered,” Come and see. ” So they went to see where he lived, and that day they stayed with him. It was about four in the afternoon.”

The clearing to get to the truth

11 Jan

We mentioned in a post this week that the term find light is aClareiracommonplace in philosophy, but what are the main differences between Heidegger’s glade, and go to light in Plato’s Myth of the Cave, or the Idea according to Immanuel Kant’s thinking?
One can read in Heidegger about Plato, one of the pillars of Western thought about truth:
“Truth is no more, as non-veiling, the fundamental trait of being itself; but becomes exact by reason of its enslavement to the Idea, it is henceforth the distinctive feature of the knowledge of the being. Since then there is an effort for “truth” in the sense of the accuracy of the look and its direction. Since then, all the fundamental positions taken regarding the being, the obtaining of a correct look for the Idea become decisive. ” (HEIDEGGER, Plato’s doctrine on truth, s / n, p.10).
Long before any of the digital apparatuses, Heidegger had already stated that the eagerness in the modern impetus to make the object available is what “destroys every vision than the disincentive makes itself happen, and thus in principle endangers any relationship with the essence of truth “(Heidegger, 2007).
The clearest and most responsible critique of Kant in Heidegger (criticism of idealism is often lost in objectivism or subjectivism), it is the critique of Transcendental Idealism that we are between the phenomenon and what is grasped by the human faculties as a thing-in- which in essence would be unattainable by reason, hence the separation between objects and subjects in the “Idea.”
Heidegger develops in Being and Time a separation between the concepts of “appearance” (Erscheinung) and phenomenon, where the former is not shown and the second is the self-showing itself of this something, no doubt coming from his master Edmund Husserl.
This is a fundamental passage in Heidegger’s thought, where Dasein is seen as the contact with the surrounding entities giving meaning to the ontic plane of existence, thus: “Phenomenology is the way of access and the mode of verification for to determine what should be the theme of the ontology.

Ontology is only possible as phenomenology. “(Heidegger, 2008, p.75)
Phenomenology is fundamental to the ontology and the ontology is the opening of the clearing.

Golden Globe: this is theirs

09 Jan

It’s a joke with two awards: Best Actor in a Drama Series: Sterling K. AKirkDogulasBrown(“This Is Us“) and Best Film Song: “This Is Me” by “The King of Show”, a consolation award for one Great movie about the owner of a circus that was successful in the US, I expected more for this movie.
Unknown to many of us, despite the fact that the best actress for the miniseries is Nicole Kidman (Batman Forever, The Others, Molin Rouge and others), “Big Little Lies” will remain in a restricted Brazilian cult elite, few will watch or be interested, for the American critic was the great winner of the day 07 last of the “Golden Globe”.
Big Little Lies, also won best supporting actor, for Alexander Skarsgård, and supporting actress, for Laura Dern.
The growth of pay-TV series dominates the film industry, I can understand young people’s interest in youtubers and independent productions.
In the movies the award for best comedy or musical movie (it’s the same thing?) Went to “Lady Bird: it’s time to fly”, won among others my favorite “The King of Show”.
Best director went to Guillermo del Toro’s film “The Shape of Water,” best supporting actor for Sam Rockwell in “Three ads for a crime”, which also won best drama film.
The film “Three ads for a crime” also won the award for best actress for Frances McDormand, and who won an even better screenplay for the film with Martin McDonagh, one can say the second highest winner of the night.
Best actor film drama went to Gary Oldman’s “The Fate of a Nation,” while best actor or musical comedy went to James Franco in “Artita’s Disaster” defeating Hugh Jackman’s impeccable performance in “The King of the Show,” the Oscar may correct this.
No news at Disney’s “Live: Life’s a Party!” Animation award that bought the Pixar studios a few years ago.
as a tribute to the career Kirk Douglas came in with daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta-Jones and was applauded standing up, it’s a picture of the 2018 Golden Globe.

Heidegger and the Glade

08 Jan

The term is recurrent in philosophy, Plato spoke of leaving the cave to the light,aClareira in modernity appeared the Enlightenment, and more recently Heidegger spoke of the clearing (or Glade), meaning an opening in the middle of the forest, therefore, the question of the lack of light and dark night it is not new.
But by studying the etymology of the Clearing, removing it from Heidegger’s philosophy, it comes from the German word Lichtung, where in addition to the meaning of a clearing in the forest (he himself lived a few years in the black forest of Germany), while Licht is the word for light , will mean hidden things, or entities whose truth must come to the surface, so some translators use unveiling.
The clearing is in this context what is hidden within a whole, where the being must emerge, and this seems more appropriate to modernity, since the fragmentation where only the part emerges is most often opposed to the whole to which the being belongs, thus the question of Being.
Thus the truth, for the present day, exists in the opening of the part to the whole, and the total closure of the part to the whole is sensed, not only as context, but as an integral part of Being, and to which openness is necessary to arrive the truth, not the affirmation concerning the object, but the primordial notion of the truth which is the discovery of the being in itself.
The entity that is discovered, stated Heidegger himself: “let it be seen in his being and being discovered. The truth-being (truth) of the statement must be understood in the sense of being a discoverer “(Heidegger, 1986, 219).
First we see this ontological truth as Being, and no longer as logic, as we see this relation between knowing the object and the relation to Being itself, which in modern philosophy could be called subjectivity, but it is not because they are not separate instances.
What is theorized here, in accordance with the anthropophysical theory in extension to sociotechnical, is that instead of treating the difference between thinking man as being that has “objects” in the sense of being possessed as the capacity to speak, and to construct “external” objects, the ontological conception that man thinks of as “being” through objects (the language and the production of his own life and the means necessary for it) allows us to understand all means not only as a vehicle for transmission of information, but as the mode in which human existence itself manifests itself, we call it onto-anthropothecnical.

The universal and parish message

05 Jan

Modern states were built on the aegis of the Enlightenment and liberalismaos-reis culture, which preaches freedom among nations, but conceals the interests of groups and milieus of culture that are nothing other than spokesmen of the current culture.
In spite of the culture of the states overlapping the culture of the people who are on their guardianship, regardless of the states there is a rich cultural diversity, in Europe this can be seen by the diversity of culture and peoples, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, if you say a culture of diversity after the fall of the Berlin Wall, give whatever name you want to give.
States are parochial culture, the idea that all problems are circumscribed and belong to that group established on the coercion of a state or a political and economic force that often subjugates those people who wish to live their “culture.”
It is the same as Christianity, while other monotheistic religions seek to universalize, even if there remain currents within them Sunnis and Shiites, for example, in the Islamic world, the “cultural” tendency is to form isolated groups where the tastes of these groups or these people do not express themselves in an integrated way.
In Christianity is a great misconception, the proposal experienced since the birth of Jesus is universal, rites and liturgy as well, but parochial feelings and groups are there, by the force of parochial coercion trying to impose universal thinking.
The fact narrated in Matthew for the liturgy on the day of the Magi (tomorrow) is symbolic but essential (Mt 1: 1-2): “(1) When Jesus was born in the city of Bethlehem in Judea in the time of King Herod, that some magicians from the East came to Jerusalem “, (2) asking:” Where is the king of the Jews, who is just born? We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him “.
Now the kings of the Magi, their “culture” is not known precisely, but they were neither Jews nor Christians, because this culture has just been born through Jesus, and only as an “abortifacient” (so the apostle will be called) an orthodox Jew who will experience a unique experience, and then bring to the “outside” of Judaism the proposal of JESUS to all peoples.
Perhaps without Paul this culture would remain parochial as a Jewish sect, but although present in many countries remains parochial, provincial and often, which is absurd, unrelated to the culture of local people, kings today would not enter the parish.
The coercive limitation of the nation-state of a people is what prevents it from integrating into the universal world culture, the wealth of each is not observed and is necessary changing to global vision.

Authoritarism and antropotechnical

04 Jan

The construction of modern states, essential for a stage in the constructionaoElmauCastle of modern civilization, we have already said in the previous post, based on the writings of Petr Sloterdijk “Wrath and Time”, but a conference made at the end of the century (not by chance), with the title “Rules for the human park”, made on July 17, 1999, at a conference dedicated to Heidegger and Lévinas, at the castle of Elmau in Bavaria, that the question of antropotechnical, a broader view than sociotechnical and biopolitics, the maturity.
Two points stand out in the reading of this work later turned into a book (Sloterdijk, 2000) in both I also had a personal reaction in the first reading, a totally original humanistic vision of the media, the second special for the Heideggerians (my first reading pre-conceptions), which is a view of the “clearing” incorporating natural and social history, but interpreting the Heideggerian polarity of the ontological dimension on the ontic (Sloterdijk, 1999: 61), which seemed more absurd but not was, the ontic dimension precedes the ontological dimension.
The polemic at the conference, however, was the declaration of the failure of humanism to tame human animality, and he wondered whether a reform of the species’ qualities would not lead to “anthropological technology, an antropotechnical” (Sloterdijk 2000: 45). which of course caused astonishment and a buzz at the conference.
The critique of cynical reason, which seems to be bought even more with recent history: “Bolshevism, fascism and Americanism …” are “three variations of this same anthropocentric force and three applications to a worldly and humanly decorated domain of the world, fascism missed the step by showing, more openly than its competitors, its contempt for pacific educational inhibitory values” (ibid, 31).
The idea that man is a rational animal seemed true, the existential and ontological answer, Heidegger’s clearing, for whom the Self presents itself and the Being chooses for its guard, the search for this pacification, longed for by humanism. and this “listening” of the Being would be capable of leading to a pacification of the human being greater than that achieved by previous humanistic methods, what is disturbing for Sloterdijk is how this society would be organized, forming by listeners of the To be? What would be this new “clearing”.
