Initial records of the narration crisis

Much of the criticism of the excess of information and the development of the digital universe, this recent essay that sees information as fragmented and opposed to narration, is seen both historically and in what can be called the “narrative crisis”.

Unlike other criticisms of information, located in the period of digital information, Byung-Chul Han seeks in history the beginning of the narrative crisis (translated as narration in portuguese):

It gives way to information, it should be clarified here that this concept is for the current one without context and fragmentary:

Thus, for the Korean-German essayist “The art of narration is being defined because wisdom – the epic side of truth – is in extinction”, and this begins with contemporary journalism and not with digital information.
