The Internet in Brazil is 84th. place

The rank published by the American company Akamai Technologies, last Tuesday (28/01/2014) places Brazil in 84th place,
just behind Argentina , Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, all with speed of 2.8 MB medium of transmission.
Although the average speed of Brazilian connection has grown 10 %, which is lower than the world’s average growth considering the technological developments, the expectations are for the submarine cable connection which in addition to the cost savings of around 15 % also takes to a greater connection evolution.
With the 84th place in the rank that identified the 20 countries with the fastest internet connection in the world, Brazil has a speed of 2.7 Mb per second, in a total of 140 countries that participated in the report of the American company.
Hong Kong tops the list with an average speed of 65.4 Mb per second, and South Korea and Japan completed the top three with speeds of 63.6 Mb and 52 Mb, the United States was in the modest 13th place with 37 Mb of average transmission speed.

Tablets continue winning PCs

Study done by consulting firm IDC released this Wednesday ( 4/12 ) indicated that PCs 
(personal computers) sales continue to plummet in Brazil , comparing the third quarters of 2012 and 2013 was 15%
In the same period there was an increase in the marketing of tablets coming to 134 % and the tablets were excluded from the category PC , considering only desktops and notebooks .
In the third quarter of this year were sold in Brazil about 3.4 million personal computers (excluding tablets), these 61% were laptops ( notebooks ) and 39 % , desktop computers (desktops).
Between July and September this year, were sold in Brazil 1.8 million tablets despite growth in comparison with 201 , there was a decrease of 2 % compared to the previous quarter.
The forecast for the fourth quarter is an even greater volume volume in the year , with 2.6 million units sold , making it a lock in with 7.9 million tablets, indicating growth of 142 % compared to 2012 .
The outlook for 2013 is to exceed the volume of 10 million tablets .

Web 3.0: coining words and give them meaning

Web is not just that I’m talking about, but also and especially of people, make sense,
especially human, the things around us requires thought and act more and more just on impulse .
On this blog I spoke earlier of the word selfie, but I have already spoken of Instagram and ordinary people and everyday landscapes that go through our day to day “photographic”, so too is the case of Web 3.0, or fashion trend?
John Markoff was who coined the word Web 3.0 in the New York Times , Web 2.0 has already happened , it created hundreds or thousands of applications ( Apps of considering the cell ) and included the common user as producer of information , now photos , posts , comments and ” hashtags ” are there calling our attention , but these people should ALWAYS be seen and heard , they were not.
The problem of our day to day , and also that the Web is a reflection and not an idealization of the day – to-day as some think , is that much that ” lacks ” direction , and found thousands of photos to look at , words and videos means that we need them or them offering new significance .
